"The first time I went to Kenya I was expecting many things. I had grown up with documentary
after documentary coming through to me and this is arguably the most talked about safari destination
in Africa: the stunning Rift Valley Lakes, vast herds of wildebeest and zebra in the Masai Mara and
the unique scenery in Samburu reserve to name a few. I was, still am and always will be been
intrigued by this incredible country." Hayden Turner
This is one of the richest and most diverse wildlife areas in the world. Imagine the privilege of
witnessing the annual Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra several times: it is truly is breathtaking
from the ground or from the air. The Masai Mara is also home to hundreds of species of mammals and birds,
and it is a spectacular location.
This popular destination has some serious 'safari traffic' and while it's great for the country it's not
so great for the environment at times. We found secret and hidden locations, camps and lodges not just in
the Mara, but all over this great land: the private reserves and concessions of Kenya. We have handpicked
camps and lodges in stunning locations to compliment this classic safari location, and can design your
safari around the migration or any activity you choose.
Amboseli will stay with you forever. Even though Mt Kilimanjaro is technically in Tanzania, it more or less
shares the southern Kenyan border and the view of Africa’s tallest mountain from the Kenyan side is something
everyone should see. It is also home to some of the biggest elephants to be seen in Africa, an amazing place.
And in the Samburu National Reserve, Hayden filmed cheetah, lion, and leopard all in the one day, although
he says he was just lucky that day.
There is so much to this incredible country, and its has many hidden treasures: famous camps and lodges
visited by the likes of Hemmingway and Blixen, and a catalogue of history, wildlife and people that all
contribute to Kenya being one of the most sought-after destinations in Africa.

"Every day dawned with the knowledge that something amazing would be seen, felt, heard or done and
often delighted further as Hayden conjured up surprises for us all throughout the journey."
